I must relate how I could actually conceive Them, Our ancient Gods as a reality. Certainly, such questions are directed at me on occasion and it might serve well for the general population who has dared to pay attention to Us to understand perfectly our perceptions on the matter.
I evoke or invoke one of the Gods or Goddesses of my ancestors and the divine force manifests within me by carefully doing the ceremony. Of course, I do these ceremonies daily — and in a Temple that others who are legion with my volition are completely in agreement from and who are named my immediate family. Any and all could, if this Temple were not private from the profane world, observe the divine energy that radiates. You need not, I might add be clairvoyant to any greater or lesser degree to feel this energy which is very real and ever aflame.
I have, therefore, proof within my being and my private Temple that this magic is alive and that the Gods are very, very real. I have heard the Voice of my Gods in Divine Song, and as occasion would permit They come and go as They please giving me inspiration and longevity.
Can I bring anyone to such a level of magic, power and awareness? If volition is true within the aspirant of Our Mysteries I would have to state affirmative — and yet this rarely occurs. We are, in fact, a family arrangement — not necessarily a Mystery School, although we have been referred to as the Northern Esoteric System, (which we share with other European polytheistic mystics like the worshipers of the Odin Family of Gods) we do not take on apprentices (ordinarily) in the manner of the Western, Eastern and Southern Esoteric System. Yet, the Southern Esoteric System is often a family arrangement as well, especially when the Hoo Doo is only passed from mother to daughter or father to son. The Western and Eastern Esoteric System which is dominate in primitive societies like the United States of America and England are absolutely notorious for taking on the apprentices — and for the most part do not seem to have a mystical system that is Family Oriented.
I cannot vouch for any other religious mystical system but my own, and yet the Western Esoteric System is closer to us than the Eastern and Southern. Which of the systems is the oldest I cannot say. Such research has not by my knowledge been undertaken, nor has a sufficient amount of work been done by scholars with regards to comparative religion. I have tried before to find spiritual experiences that would parallel ours and yet I am hindered by the terminology, and especially of the Eastern Esoteric System which different books give different definitions for the various religious experiences.
Of course, false systems of metaphysics exist; and they ordinarily are growths away from such and such a branch of Monotheism which none of them really gives you anything but false hope and fear motivation. Some day a Great Mystic from our system will travel this planet and try to create some sort of correlation of the varieties of religious experiences with the other three esoteric systems. Meanwhile, we have enough staying alive amidst subtle persecution and misunderstanding.
For instance, the type of spiritual balance from the Temple of Vanatur might have a parallel in the Egyptian Temple of Maat. Or the type of spiritual fire awakened from the Temple of Ar might have parallel in the Temple of Mars, Ares or Horus. The Temple of Astghik might have parallels in the Temple of Venus or some other love Goddess. No doubt, that the spiritual awakenings of Tir and Nar must have some similarities in other Temples that have similar Deities, and yet who can tell at this stage?
I do know this. Legend will create attributes of a God or Goddess. This legend will result in a near
superstitious stage of the religious belief. Then common sense conservatives will enter the picture and
create a metaphysics and ritual for the God or Goddess. As a God or Goddess will have similar attributes to these
metaphysics
and ritual shall be attracted by all the gestures that become meant for Him or Her, the divine inspirations create a pathway to
manifest as that God or Goddess in flesh.
(Note that the Unknown God who has "similar attributes"
inspires the Priest or Priestess to bring Him or Her to Manifestation. These attributes ordinarily
resemble the fruits of humanity's idea of perfection of Self and have correspondences in the primal
being of man's aspiration and will to become God Flesh.)
Over a period of time, manipulations of these forces on lower planes create a pathway for magic; and
when fully developed the system becomes a Way toward real spiritual enlightenment.
Monotheism, being, as it were a degeneration of such a byway toward the Ultimate Man or Woman, having extreme bias in either the direction of male or female will ordinarily create the most sick types of fanaticism that can exist for any human being that has persisted with unbalanced force.
It might be otherwise important to touch upon the socio-biological aspects of the Gods. Without such, you are completely out of touch with the reality of our species; and again, you'll err in the way that the monotheists have erred for the past two or three thousand years. Each God or Goddess of Armenia is meant to represent the absolute perfection of the ultimate self; manifested as a divine principle. For example, Tir is the God of Wisdom and Wit which is closer to what His reflection on this plane of geometry would be as a Perfect Wise Man or Woman. Physically, He appears in the prime of his physical and intellectual youth where He appears physically and mentally fit - with a tendency for puns, paradoxes and wit within the body of his wisdom much in the same way a young man of letters would be at one of the more competent of the Universities in Europe or elsewhere. He, is, represents the eternal youth of just that person you were when your intellectual faculties were at their greatest. Intellectual social interplay complete with wit and wisdom where you can laugh with others, young and eternal and ever eager to learn and explore. Therefore, Tir as a God is completely in touch with the reality of our species, and represents just those compatible socio-biological elements that are archetype with a reality on this very plane of geometry. Now, the only Gods from other esoteric systems that correspond closely to Tir are Loki of the Family of Odin, and Tahuti of the Family of Ra in old Egypt. Yet, Tir is Tir and not Loki nor Tahuti and we simply give preliminaries to a comparative polytheistic correspondence that simply hasn't been done yet. Other Gods in Our system will always follow this same pattern of socio-biological manifestation in this plane of reality, or they would be lies that have no bearing on the issue of improvement of our selves. For example, the Goddess of Love, Astghik, represents freedom of relationship, divine love, and keeps us in touch with the reality of our biological volitions with regards to mating and relationship. Or Nar, who represents the elements of nature, and keeps us in touch with such important survival instincts such as ecology, agriculture and our basic need to be touch with the planet as a garden wherein we reside. Her symbol is the slightly bent windmill blown strongly by the wind, and Her devoted worshipers hold the palm of their hand to the wind to partake of Her Sacred Raindrop. All these traditions not only have deep and sublime wisdom with regards to our species in terms of socio-biological aspiration and manifestation but actually correspond to a power that is beyond your wildest dreams. A power that can be abused when applied on the lower planes with magic. Of course, the other Gods of Armenia have all those symbols and attributes that work strongly on this plane of geometry for the growth of our species wherein we are fit instruments to have those Gods dwell within us.
