The Goddess Nar in Her Vengeance

We realize how confusing all this is for students of mythology to see the Goddess Nar in some parts of Armenian history worshiped as a Goddess of Nature and Growth, and other parts of history as She as a Warrior Goddess. This page perhaps will give the serious aspirant to these ancient mysteries a little clarity on how the formula is going to change when the Raindrop of Nar is ignored from the equation of Her Temple worship.

The Babylonian Slaves Lords whose strange ancient wisdom included the removal of any tribes or peoples that would blaspheme the creed of the Gods used to exclaim in apparent explanation of their motives:

White is white is the lash of the overseer, white is black is the watchword of the slave. (1)

This startling advanced insight into the perspective of the slave mentality is an example of how they found logic with the enslavement of the Jews, and gives us insight why they forced Sin the Babylonian Moon God on their new slaves.

Keeping this mind, the below image shows the image of the Goddess Nar, no longer giving Her Sacred Raindrop, but the severe winds of her windmill spinning and ripping the fabric of the universe until adjustment and curse has restored order to nature.

Note that she has the lighting bolt of Vahagan, and Her hand is no longer held to Her worshipers but to Her Divine Sister None as She draws the ancient forces from Her Temple. The clouds have turned strange color and shape as the spirits of the murdered children try to come to life, and Her anger concerning the blasphemy to Her Temple grows more terrible as the High Priestess begins the ceremony that spins the windmill to awaken Her Curse.

The High Priestess Herself (not in the below image) has discarded her normal ceremonial robe and donned a robe of scarlet. She proceeds with the ancient ceremony. (2)

It might be in passing to remark that all this is also a scenario of any woman who has given gracious love and has been insulted by the lack of consideration of not receiving love and will. Naturally, the woman feeling hurt that she would be so maliciously misunderstood in her honest desire to give that part of herself called love arises in fury that the situation has permitted nonessentials to interfere with natural love.

The Goddess Nar hath that fury like a woman scorned.

Or you do not displease the Goddess and awaken Her wrath without seeing that side of Her that is the destructive wind of vengeance.

1. Slavery as a solution to such a dire social issue as this of course did not resolve the issue, and the Babylonian Slave Lords — even after forty long years of trying to civilize these slaves away from foul habits repetition only occurred as the migration of these people continued after they were freed. The Egyptians also were unsuccessful with their sincere attempts to bring them to the higher perceptions of polytheistic civilization and history will show that slavery does not assist in anyway whatsoever but to lower the standards of self esteem. The slaves still saw black as white refusing to see the issue in its clarity. The dogmatic rationalizations of such cultural habits seem very reasonable on the surface, and yet never manifest properly to the higher planes when acted upon in ceremony. It is no wonder the Magus (singular for Magi) is symbolized as the Juggler knowing such complexities of metaphysics take more than a moment's rationalization. To justify such sick acts of mental illness within a religious creed is the mark of a one dimensional thinker. For to state — as they used to — that the sacrifice of a first born makes you more Holy as a consequence of giving the ultimate sacrifice to God will always be one of those rationalizations of dogma that near startle Us by the strangeness of its logic. More than startle Us, it horrifies and shocks us. For us being a family arrangement instead of a Master — Apprentice mysticism (ordinarily) we find it natural to love our children with all our hearts and souls and would never do anything to cause harm to them.

2. The Priestess of Nar wears a brown robe to symbolize the earth ready to be seeded. Yet some Priestesses wore forest green. Originally, when the Curse was first uttered it had not been done for ages and the curse was one of those horrible legends that were never verified one way or another by the Priesthood. When the High Priestess walked toward the Windmill, (being the actual Temple of Nar) wearing the scarlet robe everyone was solemn with part fear and part nervous anticipation. The shock of what had been happened had already circulated in the village and the dead baby had been discovered with a deep cut on the back its neck, almost as if the savage who had sacrificed the baby did not want the baby to see its father or mother's face when the sacrificial dagger came down to murder the child to Yaweh. The shock, the horror and the anger still lives within the soul of the Priesthood who for centuries had honored the newly born child as a child of the Gods from Astghik. The curse was uttered again in 1925 by Martha Kunzel who although not of our Priesthood had found the keys of power and thought that Adolf Hitler was her magical son. The windmill of Nar as everyone now realizes is symbolized by the swastika. The ancient brown robes of the Priest and Priestess of Nar was used as the brown shirts of the Nazis, the salute to Nar for Her raindrop was the Nazi salute, and so on completely including all the symbols of the ancient Priesthood that would manifest the force of the curse.
